Scroll to find out more about Seestar hosting
Astro Observatories Western Australia offers Seestar Smart Telescope hosting at our southern hemisphere location in the Central Wheatbelt of Western Australia. The site provides dark skies, strong southern sky access and a purpose-built remote astronomy environment for customers who want their Seestar operating from a better observing location.
AOWA operates from its own fully owned, hand picked property and is not dependent on a club, committee or third-party site arrangement for continuity. This gives Seestar customers confidence that the service is operated directly by AOWA, with clear decision making, practical site improvements and long-term support aligned to hosted astronomy customers.
The Western Australian Wheatbelt also provides a strong climate advantage for compact remote telescopes. Its generally drier conditions and more reliable clear weather patterns compared with much of south-eastern Australia make it well suited to regular remote imaging under southern skies.
This is a simple way to place a compact smart telescope under Western Australia's dark skies without needing to maintain your own remote site. It is suitable for customers who already own a Seestar, customers who would like AOWA to purchase one outright on their behalf, or customers who prefer to rent a ready-to-go AOWA-owned Seestar S50 Pro with support from an experienced hosting provider.
Customer-owned Seestar hosting: AU$159 per month. The telescope is provided by the customer, or purchased outright on the customer's behalf.
AOWA-owned Seestar S50 Pro rental: AU$209 per month. A ready-to-go Seestar S50 Pro is provided and owned by AOWA.
Both options have a minimum 3 month commitment.
